Who Does Show Me Plan Support?

Missouri Missions

30 % of your Show Me Plan dollars goes to State Missions

In Blue Springs the LifePoint FWB church is experiencing some radical changes as compared to two years ago. Two years ago the church was averaging 21 for Sunday Morning Worship and didn’t have mature enough Christians to teach classes. Now, in 2011, the church is averaging over 100. The parking lot is now full with vehicles having to park in grass or in the neighboring house that was previously used as a parsonage.

Palabras de Vida Eterna FWB church in Monett has a similar problem. Their small building has surpassed capacity.  They need to replace the building with a more modern and larger facility that will meet the growing need of the Spanish speaking congregation.

Stonebridge in Troy continues to grow as well. As  they reach out to many walks of life in their community, this church has shown that although not everyone shares the same personal likes and dislikes we can all worship together as one heart and spirit.

National Missions

10% of your Show Me Plan dollars is divided among our National Missionaries that have ties to Missouri Free Will Baptists. The Show Me Plan does not fully support any of our National Missionaries so they depend on the Designated Support that our FWB churches and members provide to them.

Those that receive some support are: Daris Alvis Family in Buffalo, NY – Nate Altom Family in Greensburg, PA – Jeff Cates Family in Canyon, TX and Scott Cheatham Family in the Denver area.

International Missions

60% of your Show Me Plan dollars goes to help support all of our International Missionaries. Some additional assistance is given to those International Missionaries that have ties to Missouri Free Will Baptists

They are: Ken & Judy Bailey; Japan – Stan & Brenda Bunch; Panama;  - Donnie & Ruth McDonald; Japan – Steve & Judy Lytle; Panama – Matthew & Brooke Turnbough; Spain

Our Purpose

The Missouri Mission Board is a facility of the Missouri State Association of Free Will Baptists  and is to be used in the support of our International, National and State mission projects. It also is to be an agent of planning, starting, and bringing to self-sufficiency, new Free Will Baptist church plants in the state of Missouri.”
